The 2011 Christmas Boxes for the Troops Project is A Huge Success!
 Despite a late start this year our project supporters came through in terrific fashion. The final tally this year was twenty-eight sponsors that allowed us to send 178 Christmas Boxes to deployed servicemen and women in Afghanistan. Great job and a hearty "thank you" to each person involved in making this worthwhile project another great success. Without you this program would never get off the ground.
The Christmas Boxes for the Troops project lets our deployed service members know that their service is greatly appreciated and they're in our thoughts this holiday season. Again, thank you all for your participation and support.
Board of Directors Seeking Member Input on Two Proposals
The Board of Directors is seeking your input, questions and comment on two proposals that have been presented for consideration. President Rhea Rippey has sent a message to the entire membership outlining the proposals which can be read here.

- To organize and unify US Armed Forces Rotary Wing Aviators and crew members from all service branches who have flown helicopter combat missions in support of US National Interests
- To remember and honor our fallen aviation comrades lost during helicopter combat operations;

- To conduct charitable activities related to the US military helicopter community.
