Voting, Resignation, Reinstatement, Etc.

Voting Rights. Only Pilot and Flight Crewmember Members shall have the right to vote. Each voting Member shall have the right to cast one vote on each matter submitted to a vote at any Annual or Special Meeting. Each Member's vote shall be cast through the Chapter or State Delegate representing the geographic region in which the member resides.

 

Resignation of Member. Any member, regardless of class, who submits to CHPA a written notice of resignation shall be removed from the membership roles. A Member who fails to remit annual dues, and who remains delinquent for 60 days following the anniversary of his membership, shall be deemed to have resigned and shall be removed from the membership rolls.

 

Reinstatement. A member who resigns from membership and who meets the membership qualifications and requirements of this Article III may reapply for and be granted membership.

 

Good Standing. The membership of a CHPA member shall be deemed to be in good standing if the member is not delinquent in the payment of dues.

 

Revocation of Membership. An individual's membership may be revoked only for good cause. The Board of Directors may recommend, by a unanimous vote, to the Membership that an individual's membership should be revoked. In order for the individual's membership to be revoked, the seventy-five percent (75%) of the Membership must approve the Board's recommendation.
